In the heart of Saint Jean de Luz, in the Basque Country our espadrilles can be found in our boutique “Espadrille by Nicole Paries”. Our espadrilles are made in the Basque Country where expertise, style and production quality have been handed down over several generations.

You’ll find a large choice of espadrilles designed for men, women and children for every season. All of our espadrilles are hand-sewn and feature 100% environmentally friendly and (locally-sourced when possible), biodegradable natural material of jute, cotton, raw silk and leather. We are detail-orientated so that you, the customer can be assured of the highest quality product.

Nicole Pariès

30 years ago, Nicole Paries created her espadrille brand and shop in Saint Jean de Luz (French Basque Country). Her unique and original designs, hand-sewn in the traditional basque style have made our brand a household name throughout the Basque Country.

Made for men, women and children, all of our espadrilles are hand-sewn and feature 100% environmentally friendly and (locally-sourced when possible), biodegradable natural material of jute, cotton, wild silk and leather. We are detail-orientated so that you, the customer can be assured of the highest quality product.

Our women’s models are from European size 35 to 42. Our stylish hand-sewn espadrilles, feature heels ranging from 1 to 12 cm (0,4 to 4,7 inches ). Our espadrille collection adds new models each season and combines comfort and high-quality 100% natural fabrics, fibers and skins : leather, canvas, cotton linen, and raw silk. We also offer a wide choice of models: ballerinas, sandals, boots, pumps, wedges featuring laces, straps, bands, buckles... With our espadrilles you’ll be elegant, chic and comfortable.

Our hand-sewn models for men : boots, trainers, moccasins, mules, sandals from European size 39 to 50 feature excellent quality materials in leather, cotton, linen and raw silk.

Our hand-sewn models for children are available in European sizes from 18 to 34 : made in cotton canvas in plain, striped, polka dots or liberty styles.
